The Academy Cup is a longtime favourite for Tas Squash Academy player.
Players will placed in teams of 2, and will be put into a timeslot of either 7pm or 8pm. With teams playing against one another in singles, reverse singles, and doubles. There will be two starting time slots, 7pm and 8pm.
Rules to be conscious of:
- For singles matches, each player plays BOTH opponents.
- Matches are all 3 sets, regardless of the outcome.
- Scoring is Point-A-Rally to 6, then Traditional (scoring only on serve) to 9.
- Regular long/short rules apply at 8-all.
- Eyewear is compulsory for doubles.
- If you're at the 7pm time slot, all singles matches are to be played first, with the doubles last.
- Players in the 8pm time slot play doubles first, then all singles after.
